Peter Kingsley visited Stony Brook and talked in Peter’s class, and they had so rich an intellectual exchange that on the last day Manchester brought a lit candle into class and ritualistically extinguished it to symbolize a change in his own interpretation of Parmenides. More details about this visit will hopefully emerge in time.
