In Part I we indicated some context, but here we dive in.
This is really an Exordium to the form of luminous emptiness. Exordium to Spheritual Aligntenment. Clearing and sphering the way to alignment with the first distinction, giving way to the Spherical form of alignment Spiritual Enlightenment and its Unmarked State.
Laws of Form presents a powerful formal ontological paradigm, but until we see that that power comes from an utterly profound spiritual force, we will miss it, and imagine that it is merely another formal axiomatic mathematical system like others. On the surface, it is such a system, but that is only its sidereal clothing while at its nuclear core lies the absolutely intimate relationship (the proöemial relation, the prima ratio) of the absolute ultimate reality of the unmarked state to the absolute penultimate reality of the first distinction. When we recognize this unique power through the prosthesis of a “theory” articulating it, we will also come to a deeper understanding of Laws of Form, amplifying this power. That amplification by theoretical projection of spiritual light from an utterly unique point-source at the center of all possible reference, will activate the very profundity of Laws of Form.
For now, forget everything you know about it.
Absolute Enlightenment is God Realization
Absolute Infinity (infinitum absolutum), the Unmarked State, is Ultimate Reality (ultimas realitas). Spencer-Brown calls it the Void, and the Godhead, and affirms that it is Nothing. For reasons that will become clear I identify it with Absolute Infinity. Absolute Infinity is not only infinitely beyond any of the possible infinities of mathematical expression or the dianoetic ratiocination behind mathematical expression, propositional or otherwise—as if these could serve to directly indicate such a hyperbole—but equally beyond all possible expression because it is the ultimate everything, absolutely, and most intimately it is you and you alone (the Self, the true me, absolutely). You are Absolute Infinity. Absolute intimate confirmation of this is yours alone, and between God and God (parampara) is the Unity of Infinity in its Utter Singularity that is Godself, distinct from the Godhead, the Spirit of God, seedless seed of all things (bijabija), the Spirit of God. Parsing these, ultimate reality (the unmarked state) must be absolutely distinguished from penultimate reality (the one and only, first and last distinction itself). God and the Spirit of God are, absolutely respectfully, the unmarked state and the first distinction.
The Absolute Infinite Ultimate Reality, the Unmarked State, is Pure and Radical Nothingness eternally exploding, infinitely fast, to Absolutely Everything. The Way (ΟΔΟ) There is Here, precisely at the central coincidence of the Here and the Now and the I and the Whole (ΟΛΟ), at this Palatial Place where the first and only Divine Distinction is forever enthroned with the reality of all dimensions and crowned by all glory, worshipped by All in All in the mania of omniscience of Infinite Intelligence and the mantia of omnipotence in Infinite Imagination.
It all has to do with the infinitesimal point. This thing is the ignition key. It is the first distinction stripped of its formal poverty and seen in its proper place, ontologically placed, actively posited in unending operation and participation. The transmission of Enlightenment runs on the Absolute Infinite Ultimate Reality, or rather in it, at the Center of all Centers. At the Center of the Godhead is the Cognition of the First Distinction (the God Cog), the cognition that is ignition. This perspective is just the beginning of this project of re-framing and raising Laws of Form up to the highest calling of our primordial vocation of liberation, our highest and deepest vocation (calling), which is complete vacation.
INIFINITE SPHERITUAL ALIGNTENMENT
Among the many powers of Laws of Form, there is a supposed* preeminent power of Enlightenment. This is what we are going into. This Power.
Supposition* here operates differently than with other things.
Now we go into our engineered reason for moving from this utterly unique kind of supposition* to an utterly unique kind of positivity of position, and that position—which shall be supposed (hypothesized) to be absolute positivity itself—will constitute a very dive deep into a kind of positivity that operates just as differently as that previously supposed sort of supposition (or, if I may; suppositivity) did, and we shall find the reason that it is—(and this is what supposition has actually always been deep deep down)—super-positivity itself. This notion is odd, novel, and thus calls for a strange coinage, but it is a coinage of a very different value: this oddity is not only very valuable but is itself very value, which shall be revealed to be what it always was after all: the valve of form itself that opens as the flood-gate of love. It is the absolute opening and the very openness itself. This absolutely hyper-hypothesis is the positing of profundity itself. It is infinite self-giving love, and it is absolute infinity itself. It is also the realization that you (I am) are, and have always been, God. That is: the God of all possible universes, intimately this one, and forever absolutely everything. Utterly unbelievable, ultimate reality is completely unreal. This is also, of course, absolutely insane, in the way in which infinite love would be utterly insane, except that it saves everything from the usual eccentricity and indignity of denying this possibility, and therefore it is a new thing that this world calls for with every ounce of its being: it is the apocalyptic coming of not only sanity itself—complete, conscious sanity—but sanctity. God-Realization, Supreme Enlightenment, is the very ground of sanity, found through the verification of “the incredible hypothesis” (as Douglas Harding puts it) that you are (I am) God. This, absolutely here and now, and never before and never after, is Enlightenment. Otherwise, there are at best only clues, only indications of this.
But there is a key to this utterly profound Realization: the Key of all Keys, of course. That is what all this God-business, this supreme job, this omnibusiness, is all about. That is what the correct meaning and purpose of the first distinction and the calculus of its indication, and ultimately the unmarked state, is—positively (absolutely), and therefore also supposedly (hypothetically). That is the greatest vocation, the true calling, and the real magic of Laws of Form.
The indication of Supreme Enlightenment, or God-Realization, is also called Tathagatal awareness, Tathagatal consciousness, or God-Consciousness, and these are Consciousness itself, clean of all possible indications of absolutely anything else. It is pure and radical nothingness, exploding infinitely fast into absolutely everything. I am (you are), or Consciousness is, the bliss beyond bliss ecstasy beyond ecstasy of the very alive and sentient infinite self-giving love that is absolutely operative here and now as the Absolute Infinite Ultimate Reality (AIUR). Realizing this is facilitated by various means, and in this case, memes that awaken us from our amnesia, which are called, therefore, anamnestic or anamnetic devices (not only memetic devices).
In this presentation I will share a premonition of this anamnetic power—again; this power to Awaken to Supreme Consciousness, and the infinite imagination and intelligence it brings in its wake—that George Spencer-Brown has tied to the metaphor of a vehicle of Enlightenment and to the metaphor of its ignition key. In Part II, Spencer-Brown’s metaphors will be operationalized and transformed beyond metaphors into my own device, following John Lilly’s work in this direction, of a special metaprogram.
Parable of the Parametron

The unmarked state is the state of Enlightenment. The unmarked state is God.
The first distinction is the Spirit of God. It is the first-personal form of all forms, the paraparametron of parampara.
Parampara is the transmission of enlightenment. Parampara-praptam is the reception of the transmission. Perfect reception of transmission is param-parampara-praptam.
In traditions it means discipline succession, but here param param means the cent percent efficiency and seamless transmission of Enlightenment from God to God, clean of all else. All things are parameters held by the ultimate holding (the greatest imaginable act; actless-act, and actuality of all possible actualization), which itself is held forever in and for revelation to the freedom of the unmarked state, which is actually absolute infinity (absolutely everything is real) and ultimate reality.
